Don't End the Weekend

What a weekend! Friday night I went to my friend's surprise birthday party! (He will  be 16 this Friday) And I didn't get home till very late in the night (not sure exactly when) Then I woke up at 7a.m. to teach a dance class. Luckily my dad made me coffee! Oh how I have been living off of coffee :) Saturday I spent the day with my mom then went to hang out with my friends around 9p.m. and got to my friends house round 1:30a.m. to crash but we ended up staying awake until 5 something haha! Came home around 12:15p.m. today and went grocery shopping with my family! I'm to the point where I'm completely tired but I don't want to sleep! These are the kind of weekends I live for! Being young and feeling infinite. Throughout the weekend this Time To Pretend by MGMT kept popping up into my head and it pretty much sums up how much (legal) fun we were having. Haha! XP If only the weekend wouldn't end.

Tomorrow is the begging of homecoming week at my school! Everyday we have a different spirit day!
So you'll be able to see my school spirit this week!

I also want to take a blog moment to recognize all the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 attack and thank all the heroes who helped! It's been 10 years but the memory of that day is still so vivid.

I'm intrigued...how was your weekend? (:
Hope you had a great weekend everyone!

Mother-Daughter Day

Photos aren't the greatest for they have been taken with an iPhone and not an actual camera :)
Me and my lovely mother!
Me in a lovely giraffe print shirt :)

Me drinking lovely chocolate milk!

Me pointing at said lovely milk!

Me pointing at lovely milkmaid braids!
I MADE A CONNECTION! :D

So, today my mother and I decided to spend the day together since my dad and brothers were all busy! I was telling her about my blog and all the weird things I was interested in and I started talking about how one of the blogs I read talked about milkmaid braids! She was easily interested and I told her what it was and how it was done. Turns out that when my mom was my age and had hair as long as mine she also wore her hair like this! How awesome :D I've been trying to do it myself but I just can't get the hang of it! So she showed me how to do it today and I was sooo happy (:

My mom and I spent the day at the mall looking at clothes...and ending up buying clothes...haha! I bought this cute little giraffe print t-shirt from F21 today :) It was hidden behind all these other clothes and I immediately fell in love with it! I've been wanting a shirt with the tie collar and now I have one! I also bought this pretty blue shirt from Francesca's today and found a scent at Bath and Body Works that my mom and I both like (which is rare) So my day has been pretty much ideal :)

How was you day?
I hope it was lovely :)

When the Leaves Tell the Time

So, as you all know I'm not that big of a fan of fall. But, besides over-sized sweaters, I love the amazing photography chances that I get with the change of the leaves! :) It's soo pretty and the colors are just gorgeous. I swore yesterday the tree was green! I came home from school to find that my tree has turned into this pretty autumn red. It's also the only tree on our street that's changed color so I guess that the season has came to my family first :) Haha!

Anyways, I'm getting pumped for this coming week! It's Homecoming week! So everyday is a spirit day with awesome things going on around the school between passing periods (: I'm planning on hanging out and getting ready for the days with my friends over the weekend!

How was all of your weeks?
Have a fun and fantastic weekend! :D

Nothing Better Than A Grandpa Sweater!

Well, it's not exactly a grandpa sweater...this is one of my dad's really old sweaters that I stumbled upon while looking for stuff in my parent's closet!

Unlike my family, I hate the cold. I'm a summer person. The feeling of being free and the boiling hot temperatures with the sun on my skin is perfect! Sadly, the summer has come and gone. Fall is beginning and the weird Indiana temperature is driving me crazy! It's in the high 50s in the morning and mid 60s by the time school gets out. Everyone says that they love this temperature...I don't :( I'm always freezing.

But the one thing I do love about this weather is wearing big comfy sweaters! And I am in love with this one! It's soft and comfy and eats me up! I feel so tiny in it :)

What's your favorite thing about this season?
Hope you've had a wonderful day!

StumbleUpon This Batman!

I have fallen in love with StumbleUpon! I have now grown to be obsessed! Here's some of the things I've found on this site. If you don't use stumble upon you should. It's so inspiring and so cool!

Today was such a great day! I now have a solo in a song that my choir is singing! We are singing Steal Your Rock and Roll from Memphis! And to me it's a big deal that I got this solo because I'm in the highest non-competition choir in my school and I have upper classmen in my class. Also, everyone was so supportive! It was so nice and awesome! I'm excited to start the choreography :)

How was your guys's day?
I hope you have had a great one! You guys are awesome (:

Labor Day Weekend

Thank goodness that I had this Labor Day weekend! I was on a serious crash from ending a show. Basically, my weekend was filled with catching up on homework, playing Portal 2 (and getting pretty far) (nerds rock) and finally catching up on some much needed sleep!

Last night I slept over at my friend's house and for the first time I got to watch the movie Tangled! Cutest Disney movie ever! I'm so excited for my choir because we will be singing "I Can See The Light." How cute it that!?!? I was close to tears by the end of the movie. Who knew frying pans could be so useful ;)

Also! Next Saturday is my school's homecoming dance and my friend helped me by loaning me her older sisters dress. Look above at the photo....if you read lucky and your a fan of Katy Perry....freak out right...about...now! :) Yeah, that's right! I will be wearing that dress to my school's homecoming! :D I'll share the story on another day but how awesome is that! Here's me in the dress :)

So, how was your weekend?
I hope it was an awesome one!

Friday Football

THE THREE DAY WEEKEND BEGINS!!!

It's nice to finally have a short break from school :) I kicked off this weekend by hanging out with my friends at a home football game! WE DOMINATED!!! :D Yay for going to an awesome school where both performing arts and sports are amazing! I'm so blessed to live here! So there are some of my friends decked out in spirit wear! I don't necessarily watch football that much but it's fun just to hang out with friends and support the school (:

This weekend is going to be fun. It'll be filled with relaxing, hanging out with friends, catching up on books, and finishing up some homework. A well earned break for all of us. School just hit us all so fast! It's weird not seeing all of the friends I usually do because schedules are different. This weekend will be a nice time to catch up with everyone :)

How are you all going to spend your well deserved three day weekend?
I hope you all have a fun and safe one :)
