Enjoy the photos! Because there is a lot...and I mean a lot! BUT THEY ARE WORTH IT! :D :D :D
My big brother, Charles and I took a out of the blue
trip to Bloomington to spend the weekend with our big brother Karl! :D
We played guitar while driving! It was awesome! I loved all the looks we were getting...the bad ones were the best hahaha! It was so much fun :D
They set it up in their backyard and it was the cutest thing ever!
It was an open mic and there were so many talented people! It was so amazing how much talent there was in one group of friends :)
The next day we woke up really early so we could go to Lake Monroe and watch the sun rise!
On Sunday I went to the Palladium to watch Do You Hear the People Sing? which was a concert in honor of the writers Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel and I got to meet some pretty amazing people :)
Peter Lockyer and...
My musical idol since I was born:
Lea Salonga! :D
It was the most amazing experience of my life. To finally see and meet the one person who has been my inspiration since I was born was like a dream come true! And I still can't get over the fact that I met her :) I luckily didn't cry in front of her but I cried during and after the concert! Everything was so perfect and my breath was taken away one right after another and not just from her (though she was the main reason) Everyone was amazing and perfect! One day I hope to be in their place! If Lea ever reads this I just want to say,
Thank you so much for everything you've given me. You've been my idol and finally meeting you was a dream come true. No one can ever compare to you in my eyes. Your glamour and kindness gives me inspiration to one day be like you! Ikaw ay laging at magpakailanman ay ang aking inspirasyon. Mahal kita! <3 Sharmaine Ruth
Those last two sentences are in Tagalog (Filipino language). GO FILIPINOS! (:
So, how was your guys's weekend? Do you think you can top that? Haha :)
I hope you did have a great one though!
My mind is still trying to wrap around the fact of how amazing this whole weekend was. I love you all :D
