Teeny Tiny Tuesday

Going along with this weeks theme I'll talk about the tiny things in life that I love! :) I'm 5 feet tall (and a quarter of an inch) So I love a lot of little things like me! 

Picture 1 is of my brand new ukulele! Well actually my brother Karl bought it to be like Charles and I playing a string instrument. He wanted to be unique by being the one playing the ukulele. It took him a really long time to learn some chords but took me about 5-10 minutes to figure out three songs. Yeah...I love music :)

Picture 2 is my all time favorite necklace. I got it at Forever21 for a really good price! It's a mini camera (since I'm obsessed with photography) It isn't a real camera but how cool would that be if it was! But I still love this necklace even though it can't really take pictures!

Lastly picture 3 is my puppy, Ollie! He's teeny tiny (especially after we cut his hair) and I love him! He's three years old and a total lap dog. He looks scared in the photo because he was trying to bite my face off and got distracted by the camera noise on my computer :)

Manic Monday

It's only Monday but I already wish it was the weekend. I've had such a busy day today! Of course today I had my hard classes. After school my brother (Karl) picked me up and we went to get an envelope at the post office. Then we went home to pick up my other brother (Charles) and had a sibling bonding day in Indianapolis. I found the perfect pair of heels that look like booties! So I'm buying them after my work on Saturday :) It'll be great because I'll be taller with shoes that don't look like heels! Anyways, we went home and I made a chocolate souffle! SOO DELICIOUS.

While waiting for it to finish baking, Charles and I began our co-op mission with the game Portal 2! If you love video games you should play this one! It's so amazing :D Now my family and I are starting our Monday show list. Starts with Warehouse13 then Alphas and last Degrassi. Gotta love my nerdy shows! 

Those pictures make me miss summer so much :(

Film Withdrawal

...I'm on a withdrawal :( ...it's been weeks since I've had time to be able to buy more film and take pictures. I have been completely swamped with theatre and music and school. Luckily I've been saving up my money from work and I'm close to having enough money to buy this beauty! The Sprocket Rocket :D It's a 35mm camera with a wide angle lens! It's amazing and I'm so excited to get it soon!

I'm Late I'm Late!

School started on Tuesday! You'd think since it's the first week of school they'd start you off easy...boy was I completely wrong! My school goes on blog classes so this is my schedule:

Chemistry

Spanish 3

Honors English

Applied Music

First day of school was a blue day. As you can see all those classes aren't exactly easy. I had homework in every class. Gold days are luckily a breeze! But on top of all the homework I'm in a show. So, right after school I have to do homework then rush over to rehearsal. 

Speaking of shows...today is the opening night of the show I'm in, which the name might be strangely familiar to most of you. HAIRSPRAY! Yup :)

So those two pictures up top basically represent my how I've felt in the past few days. Soon rehearsal will be over and I'll be able to get into the hang of things school-wise and be able to manage everything else :)

Last Day of Summer 2011

Tomorrow I have to go back to school :P I'm not too excited about this especially since this summer has been 'infinite' to quote Charlie from Perks of Being a Wallflower :) But on the other hand I am excited to get one more year closer to college :)

Also, in this post here I talked about how my friend Elizabeth was going to make a feather print maxi skirt into a shorter skirt for me to wear to school! And she finished!

Their Golden Times

Here are the pictures of Their Golden Times

I'm starting my first 'blog series' today! As you can tell I'm calling it 'Their Golden Times'. 

My mom and I decided that since my brothers and I are getting older we should make a scrapbook for each kid instead of just keeping all the photos in a large box. So, as my mom and I separated the baby pictures according to the kids I happened to stumble upon some old photos of my mom and dad! With each picture came a story. What they were doing. Who they were with. How old they were. Someday in the future I want to go to the Philippines and visit these places :)

The first two are what started it all. Polaroids of my mom, Milaflor (which means millions of flowers) next to tropical flowers, and my dad, Carlo, working. The next two are pictures of my parents on some of their many dates. The the last two are just precious. The one of my dad if of him singing The Old Gumbie Cat from Cats when he was the president of his schools show choir. (I guess it's in the genes:) from 1987. He was 24 in the photo! The one of my mom is at their farm and on the back of the photo was small writing that said 1982. She was 18 in the photo!

Last Friday of Summer 2011

 So, today is my last Friday for 2011's summer vacation! My friends and I decided it would be fun to go to the mall for the day and hang out! The first photo is of me and my friend, Sarah, when we found some pretty epic hats. They were so cute! Then, Elizabeth and I decided we both wanted to try on this dress with what I believe was a cotton candy design. Haha! It definitely didn't work on either of us :)

Afterwards we went to Joannes where Elizabeth bought her material to make a dress (which she will be putting in a DIY post on her blog) Then we went to Goodwill and I found this adorable feather printed maxi skirt that was pretty big on me for $2.30! Elizabeth is also going to be doing a DIY project on that skirt for me :) She's taking it in 2 inches and making it into a shorter skirt because a shorty like me can't wear maxi skirts :P Haha! So I'm really excited for her upcoming posts!

Now I'm off to a 'Before school starts' bonfire with friends!
