So tomorrow I start my senior year of high school! It's crazy to think of how far I've come and how after this year I'll be going off to college and starting a new stage of my life! And then I look back on the past 3 years I've spent at the school. And how the first two years were spent being an awkward outgoing kinda chubby girl who wasn't completely comfortable with herself and the past year was spent coming to conclusion of who I am and what I wanted to become and embracing my awkwardness and using it to my advantage. And now with a better taste in style, change of attitude, new dreams, and about 20lbs lighter here I am! finally who freshman me dreamed of being and, more importantly, finally someone I am completely comfortable being.
I can't wait for the adventures to come this year! From going to football games, taking people's senior photos, going to Europe, and having my senior prom, this year is going to be full of amazing memories! I'm planning on recording big moments of this year to see the journey I've been on and having something to look back on! Kinda a little documentary thingy to work on!
And of course with every new year comes goals! And here are a few of mine:
- Follow through with the documentary
- Make myself more known for my photography
- Get college credit for the college courses I'm taking
- Score high on my SAT
- Get accepted to BSU
- Actually finish writing one of my books
- Get nominated for Prom Court (hopefully)
I hope you all have a great day! And if you're starting school again what are some of your goals?!

An Adventurous Time
From Monday til Wednesday I went on a vacation with Cason, his sister and his mom to the wonderful Gatlinburg, TN! We spent our three days doing things that I've always wanted to do before! Sadly, I wasn't able to get a lot of photos of everything we did because I couldn't carry a camera with me and buying the photos the company took would be way too expensive. So I'll just show you all the photos I did get and tell you all the adventures I had!
Monday: Woke up bright and early...well not so bright, the sun wasn't up yet...at 5 to get the car packed and got everything settled to hit the road for the 6/7 hour car ride! Once we got there we ate lunch and headed to our first adventure which was...HORSEBACK RIDING! Ever since I was little I've always had a fascination with horses but I've never gotten to ride one until now! We took an hour ride in the national state park and it was quite the experience! It was so much fun getting to ride the horse but I definitely felt sore afterward! We ended the night with a little swim in the hotel's pool because who doesn't love night swimming!

Tuesday: Another early-ish morning to get ready for a drive across a mountain to go on our next two adventures of...ZIP LINING and WHITE WATER RAFTING! We started off with zip lining and I don't know if you guys know this but I am absolutely terrified of heights! But of course being the adrenaline junkie I am I went for it! I held on to the ropes my first line but all my other ones I felt like being courageous and went no hands. I even did a trust fall twice! It was amazing and definitely something I would want to do again! Then after lunch we rose a bus to go rafting! We went through classes 1-4 waves and ended up almost falling out of the raft twice! Actually the two ladies who sat in the front ended up falling out from one of the class 4s! Once we got back to the hotel we decided to walk around Gatlinburg where we found some cool things including TN's own Moonshine!!

Wednesday: Got to sleep in a little bit then hit the rode to drive through Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and then went to visit Bush's Baked Beans Museum/Visitor Center! Then drove home

So those were my adventures this week!
I hope you all had great weeks yourself and have a fun weekend!

Weekend Round Up
Saturday:
We woke up early this week to get to the Farmer's Market and explore and wander and enjoy all of the surroundings! The weather was nice and warm and everything looked and smelled wonderful! After all the walking around we left with two dozen Dad's Corn and Blueberry Preserves! So excited to utilize those!
What I Wore:
Collared Owl Tie Top ~ Forever21
Maroon Short Jersey Skirt ~ H&M
Black Wedges ~ DSW
My friends and I decided to have a pudding fight! Yes, you did read right! A pudding fight. A legitimate fight using pudding by throwing it at each other. And it was such a blast! So, after 10 boxes of pudding mix we prepped in our bathing suits and went at it!
Hope you all had fun weekends as well!

Zoo Day Part 1: OOTD
I obsessed with animals! All summer I've been wanting to go to the zoo and I finally got to go yesterday! With the weather being nice and warm with summer breezes and no sight of rain it was the perfect day for visiting the zoo! We got to see the lions, and tigers, and bears...OH MY! And we also got to see a dolphin show! I was dying from all the animal cuteness! Also, when I was picking out my outfit I was just picking what would be the coolest for the day and it happened to be the tiger shirt haha I didn't even realize how cheesy it was till I got to the zoo!
What I Wore:
Sheer Tiger Shirt ~ H&M
BDG High Waisted White Shorts ~ Urban Outfitters
Tan Bow Wedges ~ Thrifted
And here's a look into what I brought with me to the zoo! It's so nice being a girl so I can carry a bag of essentials around with me rather than in pockets haha :)
So I packed my bag with my camera, wallet, a map of the zoo, water, flats (which i never changed in to) extra makeup, phone charger, eos mint chapstick, three hairbands, my bath junkie oil, sunglasses and glasses, and elf oil pads! Thank goodness for big bags!
And here are more photos of our trip!
I can't wait to show you guys all the animals we saw!
Have a great day everyone!
