(Quote from John Steinbeck's The Pearl)
I totally meant to do this blog post like two or three weeks ago when I got this present from my aunt who lives in the Philippines that I met for the first time in Seattle...but better late than never right?Growing up I never had the chance to meet any of my relatives because we moved from the Philippines to America when I was only 5 months old. Over the years we always got little packages from them giving us presents like Filipino pastries, t-shirts, and jewelry. Finally getting a present in person felt really nice...I'm not sure why but it was really special to me. One of my aunts gave me a pair of earrings, real pearl earrings and a real pearl necklace...with the pearl still in the clam!
Big thanks to my aunt! I love this necklace so much!
And have a great day everyone! I'm directing a photo shoot tonight and photos will be up tomorrow!
that is such a beautiful necklace! i'm excited to see your photos!
