We Tend to Nerd Out: OOTD

Yesterday, we decided to head downtown to hang out after church! And what else would you do downtown other than visiting the Star Wars Exhibit! Have I told you guys I'm a little...big nerd? I was definitely nerding out with my brothers! It was so much fun! We did all the little activities, like making little robots and making a pair of robot legs move, and took pictures with all the character's mannequins (besides the Storm Trooper...he was the real deal!)

Also, how do you guys feel about my new glasses? They're fake right now but I'm trying to decide whether I like these frames or not for my real ones.

Planning a Little Romance

Lately I've been obsessing over three things...
1) I want to become a better cook
2) I want to have a romantic dinner with Cason
3) I want to make my backyard look pinterest/kinfolk like

So what does 1+2+3 equal? Me planning a pinterest/kinfolk looking romantic dinner with Cason where I cook the appetizers, main meal, dessert, and drinks! But...this is where I need your help...I'm trying to find delicious recipes that I can make completely by myself that is in my level of difficulty...which I would say is "upper beginners"...so help would be lovely from you all :D

A Bit of a Parade

I can't believe it's already Friday! This week flew by so fast! With rehearsals for our city's parade and hanging out at the festivities the days full of fun went by so quickly!

On the third...
I started my day early with a rehearsal to practice our routine for the parade! Then my friends and I got ready together for the first day of CarmelFest! It was such a blast! Just walking around, going to a little petting zoo, getting a bunch of festival food, and hanging out with everyone! My favorite part of CarmelFest was definitely the food! Oh how I loved the strawberry daiquiris and funnel cake!

On the fourth...

another early morning waking up to get ready for the parade! In two hours we danced and sang two miles! It was one of the most tiring experiences ever but at the same time it was so much fun! I definitely got a tan from it as well haha! 

Then after the parade Cason's family and my family had a cookout together and enjoyed lunch and from there we went to CarmelFest to hang out more! And...I got a henna tattoo! Another thing I love about CarmelFest! I absolutely love the design of mine! It's like the sun and the moon fell in love and have a star baby! Haha the things that I come up with.. Finally we headed over with a group to watch the fireworks! 

So that's my week for you all!

I can't believe it's already July?! This year has really gone by fast! 2013 is already half over and in about a month I'm going to start my Senior Year of high school! I'm excited but at the same time nervous by how fast everything is seems to by flying and I just want to soak in every moment but don't seem to catch it in time! Do you guys ever feel like that? With fourth of July being this week I'm so excited for the events that our city has! Ambassadors will be in the parade so we're having a rehearsal tomorrow to learn everything!
