Tumblr Tuesday!

The weather is getting so lovely! Everything is brighter and everyone seems happier :) I'm so excited to see the flowers bloom!

So, I may be late on watching this classic movie but today in my speech class we watched The Truman Show! Wow! What a great movie! I love the whole concept and Jim Carrey is just a great actor! So, I'm on a movie hunt right now of all the movies my friends and I are going to watch for a movie night and I would love some suggestions from your guys! :D

Feels Like I Could Fly

Usually for a girl's 16th birthday one would ask for a car...not so much for me! For my 16th birthday I asked for a long board :) Best decision ever! My brothers bought it for me and I am loving it so much. And me (being the klutzy person I am) can surprisingly say that I haven't fallen once!

I'm somewhat of an adrenaline junky...which explains why I love being a performer...so long boarding is another factor to satisfy my adrenaline needs :) I feel like I'm flying when riding the long board!

Today my brother and I rode around our neighborhood for a good hour and 15 minutes! It was perfect outside! I'm so glad spring is starting!

Sweet Sweet Sixteen!!!

A week ago from today (March 3rd, 2012) I turned 16 :D 

Another year older, another year wiser,
another attempt to make this blog successful! :)

I held this massive party at my house for my sweet 16th! Around 25-30 people were at my house and it was so much fun! We had the music to the max and decorated the house with all these awesome lights and decorations! It looked more like a club than a house :D Then, in the midst of our party rockin', my neighbors were kind enough to call the cops on us...well whoops :) haha Sorry neighbors :P But honestly it kinda made my party even more awesome than it already was! Overall my birthday was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect night...because apparently in high school you're party only becomes famous when the cops get called (:

Tumblr Thursday

Usually when people my age stay home from school they decide to spend the day sleeping or playing video games...I spent the day cleaning my room :) And boy do I feel so much better knowing my room is finally back in order! Man I do not belong in my age group haha! I've been under the weather for about 3-5 weeks now and I've been suppressing and ignoring it in hopes it would go away...I recommend you guys don't do that because it's only gotten worse :P Luckily, I was finally able to go to the doctors and now I'm on a crap load of meds to get better!

Anyways, I've started yet another addicting thing on the computer...TUMBLR! and I now know why people love it so much! Here's some of my favorites from this week:

Those Pretty City Lights!

Last weekend from Friday-Sunday I finally went to New York City, New York! I went with some of my class mates for our applied music (which is a solo singing class) and it was a dream come true!

Friday during the day we had a workshop with two amazing people named John Bolton and Farah Alvin! They sang for us and told us their story and it was so cool to hear what they've been through. Then for dinner we went to Ellen's Stardust Diner! :D So that's crossed off my bucket list! The waiters were so cool and it was so much fun :) Then that night we went to see SPIDERMAN TURN OFF THE DARK!!!!!!!!!!! And let me tell you it.was.amazing. Everything was so mind blowing!

Saturday we woke up early and went to another workshop, this time just with John, and a selected few was picked by our teacher to sing for him...and guess what...I was picked!!! I sang I'd Give My Life For You from Miss Saigon and maybe he was just being nice but he told me I'd be perfect for the role of Kim which is my dream role! :D He was so nice :) Then we watched a matinee show of War Horse. It was very good and so emotional! Later that night we watched Memphis. And that was also amazing!!!

Sunday we went to the Radio City Music Hall! It's gorgeous! Then we watched a matinee show of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and let me just say...OH MY GOSH! I have never laughed so hard in my life! :D That weekend was pretty much a dream! Everything was so perfect :) I can't wait to go back there again if I ever get the chance again!

Oh! Well...Hi!

So...I kinda lied to you guys last time when I said I had time to blog :P But it was completely unintentional! Sometimes you just have to focus on school and the show I was in more than other things so sadly I had to stop for a while. But luckily (and this time I mean it) I will be able to come back to the blogging world! And I'm so excited because I have seriously missed you guys dearly :)

I'm so excited for 2012! It's a new year and a new experience! I'm sure it's going to be great because now I get to have great grades, awesome friends, and an AMAZING blog!
