11 Things About Me:
- My lucky number is three because I was born on March 3rd and I'm the 3rd of 3 kids
- I was born in Manila, Philippines
- I have been singing, dancing, and acting my whole life
- I choreographed my first whole show when I was only 14
- I am obsessed with photography
- I am also obsessed with art
- I am only 5 feet tall
- My hair is 2 feet and 2 inches long
- I like to do anything and everything that is creative
- My friends tend to call me a 'hipster'
- I love getting adrenaline rushes

1. What is/was your favorite subject at school?
- My favorite elective will always hands down be choir! But, my favorite core subject in school would have to be any literature class :)
2. Cats or dogs?
- I've only owned dogs and I love them soo much! But, there's a special place in my heart for cats...if my brother wasn't allergic I would probably also have a cat! So basically I love both haha :)
3. If you could only shop in one shop for the rest of your life which would it be and why?
- Oh geeez that's super hard...most likely Urban Outfitters because it's completely my style and personality!
4. What is your favorite drink?
- Shirley Temple hands down! I will always love my Sprite with Grenadine! :)
5. Do you believe in ghosts?
- I grew up hearing ghost stories of the Philippines from my parents so yup! I do believe in ghosts
6. iPhone or blackberry?
- iPhone!!!
7. Mac or PC?
- Not quite sure which one I like better...I like them both I guess
8. What is your favorite makeup brand?
- Clinique :) not sure why...I haven't tried many different kinds so I guess it's just because I'm use to it
9. What countries have you visited?
- I've never been able to actual visit another country but if you include being born somewhere other than the U.S. then I guess I've visited the Philippines because haha :)
10. Have you ever been to Disneyland?
- I've been to Disney World while I lived in Florida but never Disneyland
11. Do you like to burn scented candles, if so what is your favorite scent?
- I love love LOVE burning scented candles! My favorite scent is a tie between vanilla and lavender

Summer Beach Hair

You know when you go to the beach and you spend the day under the sun and in the ocean and you hair ends up looking wavy, pretty and mermaid like? Yeah...sadly...living in the mid-west doesn't quite give me that opportunity :P

Having somewhat obnoxiously thick and long hair...about 2 feet and 2 inches to be exact...I love to do different things with my hair! I love curling it and braiding it and putting it in cool up-do's but it takes so much time especially since my hair's super long. So most of the time I do in fact leave it plain. My hair's not completely straight, it has some (but barely any) waves to it but I've been obsessing and wanting the summer beach hair style for a really long time!

My friend has a product (which I forget what it's called) that she uses that gives her the effect and it's so easy and quick and I love it! Problem is, since I'm a jobless teenager I don't really want to spend $10-20 on a 16oz spray. So, I've been looking on Pinterest and YouTube and Tumblr to try to find homemade sprays because I know there are some out there that work. I tried making one, this one, last night. It somewhat worked but didn't turn out so great in the end and I think it's because of how thick my hair is compared to theirs. I'm just trying to find something that works with my hair...my hair almost always obeys :P

So...here's my question for all of you! Do you guys know of any spray D.I.Y.'s for long thick hair that I can use to create the summer beach hair effect? If you do please please PLEASE tell me! I'm getting bored of my straight/barely wavy hair :P I would really LOOOOVE the helpl!!!

Current Obsessions

I love how easily I find new things and even more so how in love I become with them! So, I just wanted to share with you guys some things that I've been obsessing over for a while...

Ted Gall

This guy is just genius! My family and I went art museum hopping in our downtown area and came across his work. My mind was instantly blown and I was amazed with how intricate and genius his works were! You can't quite tell from these photos but those heads actually open up and reveal another part of the work :D

Fashion:

 Sugarlips Apparel

I've been keeping my eye on their clothes for a while now and seeing their banners on other bloggers pages! You can see now on my page that I have a banner of theirs :) Their stuff is super cute! I'm loving how flowy and pretty their clothes are! Hopefully soon I'll have some in my closet! As you all know I'm obsessed with pretty lace and collars and I found them! haha

Magazine:

Elephant Magazine

My brother and I went to Barnes and Nobles yesterday and I quickly went to the magazine section hoping to find these magazines that I've been looking for but can't seem to scope out anywhere. Instead I found this great magazine based around art! I quickly fell in love with it but sadly didn't buy it...can't buy when you don't have your money with you haha I had a duh moment :P

Music:

Lana Del Rey

 I've loved her since her first album and I still can't get over how amazing she is haha! Her fashion sense paired with her amazing music is just mind blowing! She's not only a music inspiration but a fashion inspiration! I love the whole vintage feel she has! Her music is just perfect for summertime and I always seem to find her wearing floral headdresses (which I love) :) 

So that's what I've been obsessing over lately :) How about you all? Any new obsessions in your life?

Remaking

On July 1st my family and I will be going on a little vacation to Seattle, Washington for two weeks!!! It's my first time going there and I'm so excited! Being the weirdo I am, I'm planning on only bringing clothes I have made/remade :) So I have two weeks to make 14 outfits and I'm kind of freaking out but I'm really excited and it's gonna be awesome!

On Sunday my friends, Madeline (who was my model) and Grace (who is starting a new blog...more bout that later :D) and I went to Goodwill to find clothes that we want to remake! Since all three of us love to sew and make clothes it was fun going and thinking up all the different ways you could remake the clothes we chose! 

Here are the clothes that I'm remaking! And if you have any ideas of what I could do to them I'd love to know! Input is always nice to have :)

I'm so excited to show you guys the finishing projects!! Oh and get excited because this weekend I'm doing my first giveaway!! :D Get your thinking caps on because if you win your idea will be part of the prize!
