I'm Back!

Hey guys! So, if you haven't noticed I haven't posted anything on my blog for about 2 weeks now :( It's so weird how fast life just hit me! The show I'm in, Annie, opened and then rehearsals for Holiday Spectacular, my school's holiday show, started and then I find out I'm in the cast for Zombie Prom also for my school and rehearsals for that also started! And on top of that my health has been so sup par it's not even funny :P

But enough complaining :) I'm back now! And luckily things are starting to calm down and I can finally have time to do things that can relax me (which is something I really need) Thanksgiving was fun at my house! The day consisted of cooking, crafting and music making...which is a typical holiday at my house. The food was sooo delicious! It's fun to be Filipino :) On Black Friday my brothers and I went to wait at Best Buy for the midnight opening and we got there around 8:00 pm. It was crazy and the line was long! Luckily we were in the first 100 people so we were able to get pretty good things! Sadly, with my lack of time to work I didn't get the chance/have enough money to buy anything for myself :P But that's okay. I'll save up for Christmas :)

How was all of your Thanksgiving and Black Friday experiences? Hope they were great!

More Drawings!

So, yesterday I spent the day helping with the set for the show I am which opens this Thursday! After getting my 'artistic' flow going I couldn't stop so I decided to draw some more things to show you guys :) There's three of my favorites from yesterday! 

Well, my 11:11 on 11/11/11 wish didn't come true :P Actually the exact opposite happened...but it's ok...I guess I just have to trust that something good will come out of...but it's sad that it didn't come true :( I'm hoping for a cheer up day with my friends soon!

It's 11/11/11!

It was really funny! At 11:11 am the announcements came on to announce the amazingness of this time :D I definitely made a wish! A big one too! But I can't tell you guys because then it won't come true! And I really want this wish to come true :)

Tonight, I'm having a few of my friends over for a party! We're going to jam for a while, watch a scary movie (Silence of the Lambs) and then a Disney movie (Jungle Book) haha! We're one special bunch! Then at 11:11 pm we're going to all make a wish together :D

So, are you guys going to make a wish? It's so cool we get to be part of this one time thing :)

So recently on my very short down time I stumbled upon this post: The Gashlycrumb Tinies, and fell in love! They're just the most clever and creative little drawings/poems ever! It's the perfect mixture of sinister and innocence :) Which is probably a reason why I'm so in love with Tim Burton's works...but anyways! A short little post of something that made me smile that I hope makes you guys smile!

Sunday Sounds: My friends and I

So, last night I had a little 'powwow' as my friend, Jack, likes to call it. We gathered in my living room and basically had an impromptu jam session! It was super fun! It's nice to have friends who are also musically inclined :) Here's our cover of Starlight by Muse, which is a favorite of every person at the party. Remember it was impromptu so it's not 100% perfect (:

Another Day Under Blankets

Spent the day at home sick again :P Taking different medications for each symptom I have sucks. Luckily, I had my baby boy on my lap all day and my music playing. I have been able to finish 2 scripts for short films I plan on creating this coming summer! I really want to tell you guys what they're about but I want to keep up the suspense :) I also get to draw...a lot! Hope you guys like them!

I'm hoping soon I'll get over this illness  soon :P It's been hard for me to do school work and theatre...I hate falling behind. I will have a lot of things to catch up on when I get better.

Vertigo

I came home from school early today. I was extremely dizzy and nauseous and my school nurse told me I had a small episode of vertigo. Now, it wasn't that bad at all I just couldn't think or really look or focus on anything. I guess it makes sense that I had vertigo considering my mom and brother have had it before.

Since today is the Day of the Dead (day after Halloween) I wanted to share with you some drawings that I drew :) In no way do I consider myself a good artist, I just draw for the heck of it haha! It's one of my favorite hobbies. I usually just doodle and they end up as some sort of drawing so I'm not sure whether they are good or not..haha :P
